  • Seeing The Light

    When are you most happy?

    By Tracy Schruder

I’m most happy when I witness breakthrough healing and the awakening of someone. It’s an intense exchange of energy and lightness. As the vibration intensifies, the mind and body become clear, calm, and quiet. It’s an openness filled with peace and presence that profoundly changes everything about themselves and the life around them. Life is different; the relationship is immediately transformed between you and them. There’s a high quality of joy and relief, not only from the physical pain but from years of built-up mental and emotional pain.

I often witness a torrent of tears, quiet whimpers giving way to a sense of awe. There’s a space and an emptiness that wasn’t there before. Like a swirling vortex, all doubt and reprehension are sucked out of the room.

The space is empty and ready to be filled with this new reality, one that is pleasant and exciting. What follows is a new relationship built in presence and purpose.

I’m always filled with joy when this happens because I know how they feel and relive my own awakening each time I experience this. Like a soft stroke across the cheek that makes you feel loved, appreciated, and freeβ€”a fleeting reminder that you remember the grace, and you stay there, present, holding that space for them.

I’m most happy when this happens, and it happens often, so I’m happy a lot.

  • Glenn Harrold

Describe a man who has positively impacted your life.

    By Tracy Schruder

“I don’t know Glenn Harrold personally, but I’ve had the privilege of communicating with him via email. He’s the first famous person to respond to my message, and what a rush it is!

    https://www.glennharrold.com/

Glenn is a world-renowned Hypnotherapist and Writer. I discovered his work on Apple Books while searching for meditation audiobooks. My first purchase was from his “Purity Your Soul” series – “Transform your life, repair DNA, and create miracles” 528Hz Solfeggio Meditation.

Let me be honest, I’d been meditating for years, but I’d never come across anything like this! I put on my headphones, laid back on my bed, and pressed play. I couldn’t believe my ears! “What?!” I exclaimed to myself. His technique grabbed my attention immediately, soaking deeply into my brain. It felt like I’d never experienced meditation before – it was new, fresh, and fascinating.

His meditations and hypnosis changed me on a deep level, introducing me to my unconscious mind. Before using his tracks, I was overwhelmed by the constant dialogue in my head. My unconscious was programmed for self-sabotage, with habits that contradicted my life intentions. I was possessed by the negative voice of failure, a constant grumble of unresolved issues and anger.

I felt like I was meant to suffer, and every pain and failure was my cross to bear. I was becoming an unpleasant person to be around, and I ended up alone in my misery. That’s when I decided to dig in and figure out what was happening.

By the grace of heaven, I discovered Glenn Harrold. Through his tracks, I realized what was going on and changed the script. My life took off in a positive direction after six months of dedicated meditation work. My creative skills soared, relationships improved, and my work became a source of healing.

I’m looking forward to reading his new book!”

Glenns new book has just landed on Amazon! It’s available on Kindle now and the paperback and hardback will follow soon:

  • Making Grapevine Wreaths

What was the last thing you did for play or fun?

    By Tracy Schruder

Yesterday was filled with fun and creativity as I started another batch of grapevine – gemstone encrusted, wreaths to give to my most special people for Christmas gifts.

I carefully picked out a batch of gemstones chips: onyx and quartz for my brother Bob, Citrine and tiger eye for my sister Stephanie and last but not least Aventurine and Red Jasper for my best friend Jenny!

These wreaths are not jut to display for Christmas but they are something you can hang in your favourite space to admire and bring good vibes. I’m not yet finished them so I get to play again today as I add the finishing touches with love and care.

I made a few for myself to hang on my many doors this Christmas and many more. There’s one I’ve completely finished and the other I’ll work on some more.

Today the fun continues as I finish up these tasks. I look forward to gifting them, made with hand and heart. I hope my people like them and hang them up in their favourite places. I hope I surprise them and put smiles on their faces.

Rice is on there tight, brown, jasmine, and flavoured white.

  • Life’s Pictures

Is your life today what you pictured a year ago?

    By Tracy Schruder

My life is developing into what I pictured a year ago. There’s just a couple wrinkles in my timing but It’s nothing that I can’t smooth out with the steaming iron of intention.

  • Not A City Girl

What cities do you want to visit?

    By Tracy Schruder

Westport Ontario. I took this photograph A’top Foley Mountain

Give me a small town or village any day! I’m more likely to be found in the rural areas, deep in the trees, surrounded by nature’s peace. I’m not a city girl, and I don’t think I’ll ever be. Too many people, too much noise, too many things vying for my attention. Give me the great outdoors any day!

I’ve never yearned for the bright lights of Vegas or any other city, for that matter. The thought of sensory overload makes me shudder. I crave the quiet, the simplicity, and the beauty of nature.

I took this picture at Lower Reach Park Smiths Falls, Ontario

And let’s be real, I love a good ol’ fashioned chat with a friendly stranger. In small towns, you can still find people who’ll give you a warm smile and a helping hand.

In the city, everyone seems to be in a rush, stuck in their own bubble of deadlines, schedules, and shopping lists. Don’t get me wrong, I think people are lovely, but city life just doesn’t suit me.

I love how, in small towns, you can still experience the kind of community that feels like family. People take the time to talk, to share stories, and to show you around. It’s personal, it’s engaging, and it’s what adds value to the whole experience.

As anyone who reads my blog knows, I’m all about spreading love and kindness wherever I go. Give me a small town, surrounded by trees, mountains, and friendly faces, and I’m one happy camper!

  • Lighten The Load

Tell us one thing you hope people say about you.

    By Tracy Schruder

“When my mom was with me, she would say I lit up the room like a ray of sunshine. I’d smile, feeling a bit shy, and tell her I was just being me. If that brought some light and love to her day, that was all that mattered.

Before she passed, Mom shared something that changed everything for me. She said my purpose wasn’t to be a mom, but to be a bringer of light – to lighten the load of those I love and shine in dark places, finding those who need it most.

I promised her I’d keep bringing the light. And that’s what I aim to do.

So, I hope people say I brought some light into their lives. That I found them in dark places and helped lighten their load, if only for a moment. That’s the legacy I want to leave.

Thank you, Mom, for showing me my purpose. I’ll keep shining. πŸ’›”

  • Winter Fun: First Tase Of Snow

Tell us about your first day at something β€” school, work, as a parent, etc.

    By Tracy Schruder

My first day of snow this year was filled with wonderment and joy. I love watching the first snow fall; I enjoyed playing in it, even more. I’m in a playful mood, just as last year and the years before. Some of my favourite memories happened when it was snowing.

Winter is a hoot! Oil and acrylic painting by me πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ¨

On this first day of snow , I went out to play.
I laid on the ground and watched the snowflakes floating down like feathers. They are so cool and tingly as they land on my face. I couldn’t resist so I stuck out my tongue to give it a taste.

Winter Cottage. Another one of my winter paintings πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ¨

I swung my arms and legs through the snow, I
left a snow angel on the ground below.
I built two snow people, one tall and one small.
I brought out some gemstones to finish them off.

That’s my story about my first day of snow, 2025. I’m not a big fan of the cold but I enjoy the snow.

  • Performing On Stage: The Fear Knocked Out Of Me

Have you ever performed on stage or given a speech?

    By Tracy Schruder

“Brave and bold, yes! I’ve had my fair share of stage time, and I gotta say, I’m hooked! As a Gen Xer, we were taught to get out there and show ’em what we’ve got – and I’ve definitely risen to the challenge. From belting out tunes with my school choir to strutting my stuff on the catwalk for Comfort Clothing, I’ve done it all. And you know what? I freakin’ loved it!

There was this one time, though, when I was part of a massive concert in Kingston, and I was supposed to play the recorder… let’s just say it was a mercy to all involved that I opted to fake it πŸ˜‚. But I’ve come a long way since then, and now I’m all about owning the spotlight. I’ve been pulled on stage at beach parties and clubs, and I’ve even had the chance to share my story and expertise with groups of people.

Speaking of which, I’ve got some huge engagements coming up, and I’m feeling READY! I’m working on my public speaking skills, thanks to the amazing Louise Hay and her mirror work techniques (huge laughs, by the way!). I’m excited to share my experiences and knowledge with the world, and I’m stoked to connect with my readers, clients, and students.

So, to answer your question – yes, Captain! I’ve performed on stage, and I’m all in!”

  • Movement is Medicine: My Journey with Qi-Gong and Walking

What are your favorite physical activities or exercises?

    By Tracy Schruder

As I’ve shared before, Qi-Gong holds a special place in my heart as my favourite physical activity. Paired with walking, these practices have become essential to my daily routine and overall wellbeing.

I prioritize Qi-Gong daily, complemented by treadmill walks three times a week. Living in movement has transformed my life, and I’m a firm believer that it’s essential for everyone. Qi-Gong, in particular, is a practice I wholeheartedly recommend. Its gentle, flowing movements, combined with conscious breathing, make it accessible to people of all ages and abilities.

Since embracing Qi-Gong, I’ve experienced a profound transmutation in my body and life. The slow, deliberate movements have strengthened my body, while the deep breathing keeps me grounded in the present. The result is a sense of upliftment, presence, and positivity that carries me through even the most challenging days.

If you’re looking for a practice that will transform your life, I encourage you to explore Qi-Gong. Find a routine that resonates with you, and commit to it. Your body – and mind – will thank you.”
