What snack would you eat right now?

The kind of snack that I would eat right now is a couple of pieces of avocado toast. Not only does this snack tase good, it’s also packed with fibre and flavourful nutrients. It gives me the right kind of energy to optimize my brain function and physical activity.

Here are some of the benefits that I receive by choosing this as a meal or a snack; it contains healthy fats, avocados are packed with monounsaturated fats that support heart health and keep you full and they are rich in fibre.

Avocados and ancient grains toast is like putting together a fibre party – It supports my digestion and regulates my energy. This snack boosts my nutrient Intake and is also a great source of vitamins C, E, K, and B6, plus potassium.

It’s a quick and versatile food source and I sometimes top it off with eggs, tomatoes, or spices, depending on how hungry I am or how much physical effort I have to put into my day ahead. This snack satisfies my hunger and it also staves off any cravings that come about during my morning. With eating this combination of healthy fats, fibre and complex carbs, I’m kept fuelled up and motivated enough to complete my morning tasks.
